There comes a moment when you realize you can’t keep living the same way.

For me, that moment wasn’t dramatic or loud. It was quiet. It was sitting in my own silence, looking at my daughter, and realizing I wasn’t becoming the man she deserved — or the man I wanted to be.

I’ve battled addiction. I’ve numbed myself to pain. I’ve avoided responsibility, purpose, and discipline. I’ve known what rock bottom tastes like — not just financially or physically, but spiritually.

But this blog isn’t about staying there.

This is about rebuilding.

I’ve recently gotten sober. Every day is still a choice — but I’m choosing to fight for clarity, for presence, and for power. I’m working out daily, not just to look different, but to feel different. To gain strength I can carry into every part of my life — not just the gym.

I’m studying hard and switching careers, moving from where I was comfortable to something that challenges me — data analytics, tech, whatever opens new doors. I’m not there yet. But I’m not stuck anymore either.

Most importantly, I’m a dad. And I want to be the kind of father who leads with example — who shows my daughter what it means to fall and rise again, to fight for a better version of yourself even when it’s hard.

Spiritually, I’ve shifted. I don’t see life the same way. I believe everything is connected — the body, the mind, the soul, the work we do, and the way we treat others. This path isn’t just physical, it’s sacred. And every time I choose discipline over comfort, I’m honouring that.

This blog is where I’ll document that journey.
The workouts. The failures. The growth. The spiritual shifts. The real life in between.

If you’re rebuilding too — from addiction, from burnout, from failure, or from just feeling lost — you’re not alone.

Welcome to Dad Rebuilt.

Let’s get stronger — together.
